India enters with five debuts
India, just like it did in the ODI series named 5 debuts on the team sheet that included the pool of Mandeep Singh, K L Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishi Dhawan and Jaydev Unadkat but none of them impressed apart from Mandeep some who scored a steady 30+ when India lost their first wicket quickly. Unadkat and Dhawan had a day to forget as they conceded 40+ run and Chahal was also not on top of his game as he conceded 38 runs with just one wicket.
K L Rahul fizzles away quickly
After promising performances in the ODI series a lot was expected from this man as it was his debut in international T20 scene, but was an utter disappointment as he was out for a duck. KL Rahul had a brilliant season with RCB too, so everybody was expecting to have a decent performance from him, but that was not the case for his first international T20. Losing the first wicket quickly was the reason that India was largely behind for the most part of the game and hence K l Rahul should have done something special.
Consistent Bumrah
Since making his debut for the Indian T20 team in Australia this man has developed his skills even more and has impressed everyone on the global stage. He was the only bright thing in the Indian bowling charts as he conceded run with an average of 6 and picked up two wickets. This man was a standout performer in the ODI series and can book his berth for the regular senior Indian national side.
Chigumbura blast Indian away
There have been numerous occasions when Chigumbura has rescued the Zimbabwe team with his brilliant skills and that was one of those days as he blasted away India with a superb inning. I don’t know why he Play Sports Game so low down the pecking order, but is a constant performer for Zimbabwe with bat and ball too. He saved Zimbabwe in the ODI series too, as he rescued them to a good total.
Manish Pandey can be perfect choice in the middle order
I remember Manish Pandey was an unknown face when he just stepped into RCB and went on to score a ton which was the first one by any Indian. IPL: A BIGGER BUSINESS That was years ago and Manish Pandey has grown into a strong and reliable batsman and can be crucial to the Indian middle order in the coming year as he showed his brilliance as he was the only bright side and was the reason India made it to the last over.
